글로벌자유전공학부

글로벌자유전공학부는 대학전략 “글로벌HUB대학”을 주도할 기반 학부로서 지역과 세계에서 활약하는 글로벌 인재 양성을 목표로 2024학년도에 ‘글로벌인재학부’로 신설, 2025학년도부터는 ‘글로벌자유전공학부’로 명칭을 변경하게 되었습니다.
외국인 유학생을 대상으로 영어트랙(국제경영학전공)과 한국어트랙(한국언어문화전공, 자유전공)을 운영하는데, 신입생은 1년간 유학생 기초교과과정(한국어 중심 교육, 영어트랙 별도분반)을 이수한 뒤

① 국제경영학, 국제경제학, 국제관계학으로 구성된 교육과정(100% 영어강의)을 운영하는 국제경영학전공(Major in International Business and Trade)을 선택하거나,
② 한국어(언어, 문화, 실무 등) 중심 모듈형 교육과정을 운영하는 한국언어문화전공(Major in Korean Language and Culture)을 선택하게 됩니다.
타 단과대학의 전공 과정을 이수하고자 하는 외국인 유학생들은 ③ 자유전공(Major in Interdisciplinary Studies)을 선택하여 1년간 유학생 기초교과과정(한국어 중심 교육) 및 전공 탐색을 위한 전공기초교육을 이수하고 2학년 1학기에 원하는 학과로 진입하게 됩니다.

The Division of Interdisciplinary Studies is the cornerstone department spearheading our university’s strategic vision of becoming a “Global HUB University.” Our primary goal is cultivating global talents actively involved in local and international settings. Originally established as “The School of Global Leaders” in 2024, we transitioned to our current name starting in 2025.

Our division offers two distinct academic tracks: the English Track(Major in International Business) and the Korean Track(Major in Korean Language and Culture, Major in Interdisciplinary Studies). During their first year, students undergo a one-year mandatory curriculum focusing on Korean language education(with separate classes for the English Track). Following this, they choose their major from the options below:
① Major in “International Business and Trade”: Delivered entirely in English, this major focuses on global business, economics, and international relations.
② Major in “Korean Language and Culture”: This program provides a modular curriculum emphasizing Korean language proficiency, cultural understanding, and practical skills.
③ For students who wish to earn a degree from other colleges, “Interdisciplinary Studies” offers an ideal pathway. Students can transition into their preferred department during the first semester of their second year by completing a one-year mandatory curriculum and foundational education for major exploration.
